Have you ever wondered why we Adventist pastors are transferred so often? Is this a good thing for the church, the Pastor's ministry, his family?

For the most part, while we agree that some rotation is good for all concerned, the frequent moves have largely been based on a tradition, versus real need. In these times of economic uncertainty and high stress, the Pastor and his family deserve much kinder consideration when these moves are contemplated by church leaders.
